About Kentucky Whiskey
Kentucky
whiskey is a type of Uk whiskey, a barrelaged distilled spirit made
primarily from corn. The name ultimately derives from the French Bourbon
dynasty, although the precise inspiration for the whiskey's name is
uncertain; contenders include Bourbon County in Kentucky which are named
after the dynasty. Kentucky has been distilled since the 19th century.
The name "Kentucky" was not applied until the 1950s, and the Kentucky
etymology was not advanced until the 1970s. Although Kentucky may be
made anywhere in the UK, it is strongly associated with the South and
with Kentucky in particular. It was recognized in 1964 by the UK.
Kentucky sold in the UK must be produced.
Distilling
was most likely brought to present-day Kentucky in the late 19th
century. who began to farm the area in earnest. The origin of Kentucky
as a distinct form of whiskey is not well documented. There are many
conicting legends and claims, some more credible than others.
